Congratulations to Black Ice for winning the 16s division of the Happy Volley AAU Tournament held at Penn State during Memorial Weekend. The team, coached by Dennis Shields & Roberta Holehouse went undefeated the entire weekend. Black Ice will be travelling to Reno, NV for the Jr. Girls National Championships this summer. For several of these athletes, this will be their 4th time competing at Nationals. Great job for a very successful season to: Lauren Bosse, Jessica Brown, Anna Holehouse, Rachael Holehouse, Kelly Lacy, Susannah Matthai, Heather Reed, Ally Teuten, Morgan Thomas, Abby Thrift and Hannah Wohltmann. Thanks also goes out to Stephanie Paradise-Brown, team rep who helped keep the team organized and to Allen Thrift for assisting Dennis during all of their tournaments.
