| Timeout Player Spotlight - Black Attack 17N |

“Happy Valley” was indeed happy for the Black Attack 17N team as they went all the way to the finals in their division at the Happy Volley Tournament at Penn State during Memorial Day weekend. Black Attack started out slowly on Saturday posting a 1-6 record, but the team rallied on Sunday and went into the playoff round with a 4-2 second place in pool record. Monday saw the team playing some the best ball of the season and went into the finals with a 10-3 record over the last two days of the tournament. Unfortunately, they came up against DRVC U17. the gold medal winner at the recently held Canadian Nationals. Black Attack played hard until the final whistle, but wound up with silver for the tournament. A great way to end the season!

| | | CONGRATULATIONS to Time Out 15N_Black Ice for winning the CHRVA 15 OPEN Regionals last weekend to win a bid for the 30th Annual Jr Olympics National Championships in Miami, Florida.
Please Congratulate Coach Mark Beck, Assistant Coach Erin Sauter, Team Rep Anabel Teuten and all of their outstanding players: Lauren Bosse, Sacey Donadio, Anna Holehouse, Rachael Holehouse, Kelly Lacy, Emily Letke, Susannah Matthai, Megan Sedney, Ally Teuten, Abby Thrift and Hannah Wohltmann for a job well done!
| | CONGRATULATIONS to BLACK HAWKS_Boys U16
| | | Congratulations to our Boys U16 team, Black Hawks for winning their first tournament at Albright College in Reading, PA on January 31st. The team, with players from Calvert Hall, Gilman and Loyola, was first in their pool (6-2 record) and came from behind in the final match to beat the only team to defeat them in pool play. Coaches Karen Daukantas-Jones & Bob Thompson credit the win to the determination and unity of the team.
